I'm having a "Potter Party" at my house tonight with my friend Gina (pictured in the photo). We were supposed to have an all day marathon event of Harry Potter 1 through 5 but sadly track practice and a doctors appointment got in the way of that plan but she's still coming over right now to watch the 5th movie with me. I've spend the last hour cleaning like an idiot and setting up the DVD player in my room because the one in the living room decided to crap out on my when I needed it. Luckily I got the one in my room to work (yah!) so we can watch it on pillows on my floor.
She gets my obsession with movies and books and loves them pretty much just as much as I do so we bond over that. I have a box of tissues ready in case we start bawling when Sirius dies or when I see Fred come on the screen (I can't stand knowing he's going to die! Gahhhh!).

But somehow I felt worse for Sirius...he died with everyone hating him :( And he was so much better than James Potter.
It bugged me so much that I decided to change the ending for myself- in my mind, Harry moves in with Sirius and marries Luna Lovegood and lives happily ever after :D
I hate sad endings.
